I had my second session of SMP with Quinton last week for Denton improvement and cannot recommended him as a person or the work he produces enough. From the time I consulted with him I loved how his approach was built around ethics and expectations. He took the time to give me honest advice about what he can do and he explained to me that he didn’t want to put my hair or appearance in a situation that looks good for a year or two but in time may look stupid if further loss occurred. I think this made me choose him as an SMP artist more so as he wasn’t about trying to get me booked in and take my money but showed a lot more care for what I wanted. When it came to the actual procedure his work was brilliant, my hair looks thicker and density improvement is massive. I cannot rate Quinton as a person or his work highly enough. A true master of his craft

Had a consultation with Quinton over facetime and here I could sense his passion for what he does as opposed to a lot of other artists who are just in the industry to make a living. On arrival to their Exeter clinic I also noticed he himself had the procedure done and this put me at ease knowing it was a practice what you preach approach! I’d previously had a hair transplant that had left me with some FUE scars, Quinton expertly covered these and also added some density over the top of my scalp to go with it. Overall very happy with my experience, fairly priced, great communication and a real confidence booster. Would recommend.

I traveled over an hour to go here mainly due to the previous reviews. I actually have a place 5 mins from where I live. The thing with this guy is he will put the extra effort in to make sure the treatment is right for you. I think I ended up having four sessions and unfortunately I accidentally washed my hair well got it wet the day after the treatment. I know hand on heart that he will do me a good deal if I need to go back for a fifth session due to my own error I've no doubt in that. On a different topic Quinton is a very intelligent guy his conversation although deep at times was entertaining and made the time pass quicker. I wish him all the success he deserve and I'm sure one day we will meet again soon.

Got this treatment about 6 months back and wanted to wait for it to fully settle before leaving a review. I honestly cant recommend it enough. I was really apprehensive at first and nearly backed out of doing it due to seeing some horror stories online of what can happen by going to the wrong person! But Quinton put me at ease and made sure I knew exactly what I was getting! After my sessions I was already really happy with it and 6 months later I’m still buzzing with it every day! I get compliments on it all the time and the amount of people that don’t believe I’ve had it after I tell them is way more than I expected! It’s given me the confidence to not have to wear a hat all the time and I can’t thank Skulltec sw enough! I’ll be sending Quinton some pictures of what it looks like now.

Had my last session yesterday and I’m over the moon with the results! If you are on the fence about having this procedure, I'd say just go for it if you can, or at least go for the consultation to find out more. I'm definitely happy I went ahead with it. I'm a female with dark hair, and even after the first session, for the first time in years, I was able to walk outside without spraying on some hair fibres, or trying to tie up or pin my hair so that my scalp didn't glow like a mini-sun. It seems like a small thing, but it gives such a peace of mind! Just finished my final session yesterday, and I'm really happy with how it all turned out. Quinton is professional, and explains everything you need to know about the procedure while also managing your expectations. I really feel that he genuinely wants his customers to be happy with the results, so he will work with you and take on board what you want the final result to look like. After a year of contemplating having the procedure, it was only when i stumbled across Quinton's page that convinced me to go for it. Just like traditional tattoo body work, everyone will choose an artist based on their style and then quality and that is exactly what convinced me to choose Quinton for Scalp Micropigmentation. He creates a natural blended finish that has had friends confused as to where the procedure had been done, even though most of the top section of my head including my hairline was bald. It has given me a new lease on life, restored my confidence and makes me want to stop every bald man in the street and tell them about it. Finished my third session with Quinton last week very happy with the results. I had a transplant 10 years ago which was successful, but I have been using fibres for thicker coverage. No more fibres! Since the Micropigmentation my hair looks fuller and thicker and I have a new sense of confidence. If you use fibres you know about the mess and limitations, this procedure can leave that all behind.I fully recommend Micropimentaton and Quinton is the man!

I could really write an essay about how much life changing experience that was. What can I say about this treatment? Well ... in my work I spend a lot of time with my back to the customer. I was always aware of my horse shoe shape ( even when I wet razored it off, it's still noticeable). Especially when you forget to shave for a few days . It's now made me so much more confident! Especially with the females. When I went back to work this week after the final session, I couldn't believe how chatty I was being with everyone. It reminded me of how I used be around people. I have to keep telling myself to stop flirting so much!! . But that's just how I used to be.When I lost my hair I really lost my confidence. Its like iv'e gone back in time 20 years with my old self and that cheeky personality I lost somewhere along the way.It's simply fantastic to be back !!!Once I took the step to message Quinton. I went for a short consultation. I instantly felt like I'd trust this guy with my life. It felt like I was chatting with an old friend . He talked though the procedure very thoroughly, but looking at all the before and after pictures hanging around the place I already knew I was going to ask him "where do I sign?" Quinton was very thorough in the way he worked. He is very passionate with what he does and it shows in the details he applies. He even managed to outline an existing scar that makes the whole look seem flawless. Quinton wants to be just as happy with the results as his clients are . And I definitely am happy.! I highly recommend scalp micropigmentation. It gives you a different level of confidence. There's no more covering of the head, no more hair products that hide the bold patches, a permanent solution. It's great value for money. Quinton who does the procedure is a really nice guy who puts you at ease straight away. He's very intelligent and knowledgeable and knows what he's doing. I've been bald for 10 plus years now. Having seen the cost and the uncertainty of hair transplants, i simply opted to just wearing hats.I first noticed the Scalp Micropigmentation treatment many years ago, at first I took an interest but remained skeptical about the whole thing.When i saw the Skulltec southwest page on Facebook a few years later i delved a little deeper into it and having seen that it was local for me, I took a greater interest.Debating for the last year as to whether to seriously get the treatment done, all the while having constantly seen the many brilliant reviews from my fellow baldies I decided to get in touch.As soon as I made contact I knew I was in safe hands.Quinton addressed all my concerns, answered all my doubts.As for the treatment, the man is simply brilliant at his craft, his attention to detail is top notch.After having my 3rd and final treatment completed, I've had nothing but good compliments, they say it looks great! No one can quite believe it isn't my real hairline / scalp which after all is the whole point!The clinic itself is a nice place to be, comfortable, very clean and tidy.As for Quinton, he is a great guy you can have a laugh with and he really cares about his clients and his work.My only regret about the whole experience is that I didn't have the procedure done sooner!Many thanks Quinton

Decided to go with a hair density treatment to help add density to the crown after being 5months in post fue Surprisingly last month when the gyms reopened a regular there didn't even ask me if I had a transplant when in my mind it was more questionable then. Then after my first 1 of 2 sessions of hair density treatment from Quinton, 5 days later I got asked if I had a hair transplant! That's how good it looked! Quinton was very skilled in placing pigmentation in the right places to make it look as natural as possible and to no way give it the "colouring in look" I feared from just merely looking at some photos on Google search. Very skilled indeed. Would highly recommend. Also all round top bloke!

Amazing! Couldn’t be happier. Following a long wait throughout lockdown, I recently met Quinton and started my treatment, prior to this we talked over the phone a few times and Quinton explained the treatment process and what to expect, he answered any questions I had, he answered everything I could think of and really put my mind at ease.On the day of my first treatment we met at his studio, which is a nice clean professional environment, we went through everything again and he spent time listening to what I wanted to achieve and desired hairline etc.On starting the treatment I soon discovered it is not painful like a tattoo at all, and i was never left with any scabbing after any of the sessions, only very mild redness which soon disappeared over the next 2 or 3 days.I have now completed 3 sessions and achieved the desired result of what I was looking for, you really can't see where the treatment is and can only see what looks like a full head of shaved hair, to say im impressed is an understatement, I keep having to check it out in the mirror!Every session Quinton was great company to be with and the time flew by, I really can't recommend this guy enough for scalp micro pigmentation, he takes great pride in his work and the results are truly outstanding.. my only regret is, I just wish I could have had it done years ago.

Quinton delivered a subtle, understated, and natural hairline for me just as I had requested. I guess everyone's main concern is if it will look natural or not, this was certainly my biggest worry. Well it looks so natural that I am half expecting it grow. I dithered for many months but I am so pleased I made the decision to have it done. You need a skilled technician and I decided on Quinton because of his portfolio and training.The studio is spotlessly clean and Quinton ( a lovely man by the way) enthuses a relaxed atmosphere throughout. Cannot speak highly enough about Quinton and the procedure. Like most people considering smp I was hesitant and wasn’t sure how effective it would be and if it would look ok. I have always hated my hair but the hatred became even stronger when my hair decided to part company with me and my scalp due to MPB! Straight off, I am blown away with the results from this treatment and the care received from Skulltec-southwest.I’m quite a skeptical person so going ahead with the procedure wasn’t an easy decision for me to make.I first noticed my hair ‘thinning’ when I was just 21 and by 30 it had pretty much all gone from the top of my head. I hated being a baldie so, from that date on, I couldn’t bring myself to leave the house without a hat on, even just putting the bins out made me anxious.I found Skulltec South West via Facebook and it immediately caught my attention so I checked out the website, read it all and viewed all the photos of previous work. I then messaged the page to register my interest. They were very quick to respond but I still um’d and ah’d for the next few months (COVID inclusive) and asked every question that came to mind, Quinton had the answers and didn’t falter once. Nothing was too much trouble. His passion for the work he offers is second to none and he seemed to have all the time in the world with no pressure on me at all. In the end, all I had to do was meet him and see the results for myself. So I did, and I was sold. I wish I had just done that from the off, I could have spent the summer with my new hair ;)Just a few days after my last session with Quinton I felt confident enough to work on the front of my house (repairs and painting) without a hat. And for the first time in 20 years I didn’t feel at all uncomfortable or worried.If you’re in the south west of England and thinking about SMP, don’t wait, go and meet Quinton and get started, you won’t regret it. His level of professionalism, workmanship and the cleanliness of his studio will leave you wishing he was doing this years ago!

Not sure I can describe how nervous I was in the lead up to my ‘treatment’ .......but needless to say, I definitely shouldn’t have been, because Quinton was BRILLIANT!!!! He put me at ease instantly and before long my nerves had completely disappeared!Quinton was so informative about everything, and he had no issues answering my 756 questions!Having completed my treatments now, I am indescribably over the moon with the outcome! Absolute pleasure of an experience and I'm over the moon with the results, it's made such a difference to my life already! I wish I'd had it done years ago! Within the first 5 minutes of the consultation you'll definitely know you're in the right place, as did I. From the outstanding results to the aftercare I'm so pleased, Quinton explains everything about the procedure, the stages, what to expect and checks in with you between sessions giving you total peace of mind, all in all you couldn't wish for a better more professional service. If your thinking of having SMP I can't recommend Skulltec highly enough.

Quinton was absolutely brilliant from the moment I had the consultation, I felt comfortable that I was in safe hands for procedure like this. The results are simply outstanding. Quinton understood why I wanted the procedure done and was exceptionally patient. The result are as expected and I have no hesitation in recommending Quinton.

Had a fantastic experience! I’ve wanted to have it done for a long time but wasn’t sure it would work on me as I have a buzz cut, but I still have hair just a bad recede and thinning on the top. I went to see Quinton to find out what could be done. After 30 seconds I knew I was having it done as he put me at ease, explained what he could do and the step by step progress I would see throughout the sessions. He then kept in touch in between each one to see how I was getting on and to remind me what he would be doing in the next sessionI’ve had my 3rd and likely final session now and it’s looking great, you can’t even tell what is my hair and what is SMP!If you want to have it done I would recommend to anyone that you go and see Quinton. I couldn’t be happier

Quinton is a life long friend of mine, I've known him over 27 years. I've always aspired and looked up to him throughout his careers. Right from the outset, birth and development of Skulltec, the main strategy was to get Quinton on board.I personally trained Quinton over the last few months ans his desire and attention to detail are second to none.
