It is also necessary for you get licencing credentials from your district council, which we can help and advise you about. As part of the course, we include First Aid training and infection control. You will receive the corresponding certification and will be on your way to having full UK indemnity cover.

The Content of the Course

First and foremost, our SMP course content includes all aspects of health and safety, covering how to prepare the scalp for the treatment to ensure a hygienic and safe environment to carry out the treatment. We also go over different techniques for scar camouflaging, density treatment techniques, and advanced hairline design for achieving feathered and gradient effects, so whatever you clients opt for, you will be able to provide them with the best service possible. To perfect your techniques, you will learn about hand pressure, and the skills for blending, spacing and depth, looking at the different needles and pigments, as well as how to master permanent impressions, to finish a client’s course of treatment within two to three sessions. Furthermore, will cover subjects such as insurance and bylaws, and consent and aftercare guidelines and paperwork. Additionally, we will cover how to hold consultations with clients and how to market your SMP service as part of your business.
